Supported initiatives

To fulfill our mission, we have chosen to focus our support on communities and networks, as well as organizations and projects that offer resources.

Communities where partners are mobilizing for change

In disadvantaged communities or communities that include a large number of disadvantaged families, we support partnership coalitions that are mobilizing to take action on issues related to:

  • social and community development
  • poverty and inequality
  • the development of children and youth
  • the environments where children, youth and their families are living.

Community, associated, and professional networks

The networks we support are made up of actors, citizens, stakeholders or decision-makers who are innovating, sharing knowledge and practices, and participating in the dialogue on public policy. These networks work in various sectors, including early childhood, the community, social development, philanthropy, municipalities, the economy and education.

Resources, sources of information and awareness

To improve the capacity of people working in communities and networks, we offer our support to organizations and projects that offer resources (in the form of data, knowledge, lessons learned, tools, events, etc.). We also support resources that are aimed at informing and raising the awareness of the general public and decision-makers about different issues related to the prevention of poverty and educational success.

Allocated funding

Since the implementation of our new orientations in 2017, we provide long-term support to more than 120 initiatives across the entire province of Québec.
