Lucie and André Chagnon awarded the Medal of Honour by the National Assembly of Quebec

On May 12, 2015, the National Assembly of Quebec awarded the Medal of Honour to André Chagnon and, posthumously, to Lucie Chagnon.

The Medal of Honour is a distinction awarded by the President of the National Assembly to prominent Quebec citizens of different stripes who, through their careers, achievements or commitment, are worthy of recognition by the entire National Assembly and Quebec society. Recipients are selected based on the unanimous recommendation to the President of the National Assembly by a committee of deputies representing all parliamentary groups.

This year, the other recipients of the Medal of Honour were Claude Gauthier, Constantinos Madonis and Charles Tisseyre. Click here to learn more about the Medal of Honour

The Foundation and all its employees are very proud to have received this recognition.
